There are a lot of games New Jersey online casino players can play at legal NJ gambling sites. But this list includes only exclusive NJ online casino games.

Is Online Gambling Legal in New Jersey?

For an online casino to operate legally in New Jersey, both the online casino operator itself and any affiliated software partners must have an affiliation with a currently running AtlanticCity casino.

In addition, as a condition for being allowed to open, the regulatory agency, the NJDGE requires all NJ online gambling operators and their partners to apply for a license.

Every NJ casino has a license obtained in this manner, and anyone else who would like to launch a gambling website in the State of New Jersey will have to follow the same procedure.

Furthermore, after a license is issued, the NJDGE continues to monitor every gambling site in its jurisdiction closely to ensure full compliance with state regulations.

Therefore, when you choose any of the legal NJ casinos online rather than an offshore site, you know your funds are safe.

The thorough investigation of every applicant, high standards that the NJDGE sets for licensure and rigorous scrutiny after licensing ensures that every NJ gambling site is 100% safe, secure and fair.

How We Review New Jersey Online Casinos

Opening a casino website and reading the home page can give you a general idea of what the site has to offer, but it doesn’t provide the complete picture.

The only way to make an informed decision on the quality of an online casino and determine whether it is the right site for you is to try it out.

With this in mind, online casinos are quite proficient in making everything they say about themselves sound great. But in truth, no casino is perfect.

We take an honest, objective look at each NJ online casino and highlight the best features, but also point out the areas where it fallsshort.

Let our informative reviews be your guide to making your experience playing in NJ online casinos the best it can be.

Here is a list of the seven things we look for when reviewing NJ casinos.

Typically, NJ online casinos offer the most generous bonuses to new players signing up with the casino for the first time.

Often this takes the form of a welcome bonus equal to 100% of the player’s first deposit. Amounts vary, but some NJ casinos will match up to $1,000 or more on initial deposits, dollar for dollar.

The most significant welcome bonus currently available by any NJ online casino is at BetfairCasino.com, where you can get a 100% first deposit match bonus of up to $2,500.

Our reviewers are knowledgeable about how to distinguish a bonus that is worth your while from one that’s a waste of time. Our reviews cover good bonuses, not only when you sign up, but ongoing promotions for existing players too.

Bonuses are not the only type of reward online casinos can give frequent players.

Special promotions like prizedrawings, reward credit multipliers or extra loyalty points for playing particular games, and the “sharepots” at TropicanaCasino.com and VirginCasino.com, where everyone gets a piece of the pie, are a lot of fun.

And usually, the minimum requirements are small enough so almost anyone can participate. Big players, on the other hand, will enjoy the challenge and excitement of weekly, monthly and yearly races and other leaderboard competitions on GoldenNuggetCasino.com, with a shot at a massive prize.

If you’re interested in regular promotions, we have you covered. Our NJ reviews are updated weekly outlining the current promotions at each casino.

Casino sites in New Jersey vary in the exclusive perks and benefits they offer their VIPs.

If you play at a level that should qualify you for VIP treatment, it would be worth your while to compare what different casinos are willing to do for you. Don’t settle for less than the best.

Regardless of which NJ online casino or mobile app you select, you can rest assured that the software is top quality and 100% safe.

You may find that you prefer one company’s software over another. Is the site easy to navigate and user-friendly? Also, if you would like to play on your iOS or Android mobile device, is the experience likely to be smooth sailing?

Our reviews will tell you what we think. But ultimately, your personal preferences should dictate your choice.

Our reviews cover some of the most popular slot games available at each casino, the table limits, which casinos offer live dealer games and those with exclusive slots.

It’s always a good idea to test the games for free if you’re playing online for the first time.

If it’s a game that involves skill as well as luck, like blackjack or videopoker, playing without the correct basic strategy can be costly. Practicing in demomode with play money will give you a chance to learn the game at your pace and correct any weaknesses at no cost to you.

Some of the NJ online casinos, like GoldenNuggetCasino.com and CaesarsCasino.com, allow anyone with access to the website to play for free. Signing up isn’t required.

Before signing up to any casino, you need to make sure that its banking policies will adequately meet your needs.

Some NJ online casinos may offer preferred banking with higher limits and faster withdrawals for VIPs. Another option that might appeal to you is being able to make cash deposits and withdrawals at the cashier’s cage of the affiliated Atlantic City casino.

Make sure you check the terms and conditions. Some deposit methods won’t qualify your deposit for the bonus. For example, at Caesars and Harrah’s online casinos, deposits made at Caesars in Atlantic City or via PayNearMe won’t count.

https://jeanslucky.netlify.app/devil-may-cry-3-slot-machine.html. We’ve tested the preferredmethods for making deposits and withdrawals as well as the speed of deposits and withdrawals. We also inform you of the minimum and maximum deposit / withdrawal amounts if any, and what fees, if any, apply.

Since all NJ online casinos are open to play 24/7, they should offer 24/7 customer service.

Email is one option, but for immediate assistance, your best bet is livechat or phone support. While the frequently asked questions (FAQ) section of the casino website may be helpful, the information there can’t possibly cover every question or concern that comes up during your play.

To receive high marks in the customer service area, the casino’s representatives must be friendly, knowledgeable and capable of delivering a quick and satisfactory response to reasonable questions.

What casino games can you play online in NewJersey?

If you are new to casino gambling, you will be amazed by the tremendous variety of games available to you at NJ online casinos.

In fact, your options include virtually all of the games that the AtlanticCity casinos offer, but without any of the extra time and expense of traveling there. Any time you find it convenient, you can access the casino of your choice instantly on your computer or, if you prefer, on your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet.

You can make deposits and withdrawals online or on your mobile device, too, as well as access promotions, earn loyaltyrewards and comp dollars.

Keep in mind, however, that individual online casinos vary greatly in their offerings.

While slots, video poker, blackjack and roulette — the most popular games — are available everywhere, other options like bingo and live dealer games are available at certain casinos only.

The following is a list of the top 10 casino games available at NJ casinos:

  1. Baccarat
  2. Bingo
  3. Blackjack
  4. Casino hold ’em
  5. Let it ride
  6. Live dealer games
  7. Progressive jackpot games
  8. Roulette
  9. Slots
  10. Video poker

Keep in mind that there is a continuous offering of new games, some of which can be readily adapted for online play.

Live dealer games

Live dealer casino games did not become an option for NJ players until August 2016. The first NJ online casino to offer live dealer games was Golden Nugget casino.

Today, the option is also available on six other NJ gambling websites.

Here is the complete list, as of this writing:

Considering the enormous popularity that live dealer games have had overseas for many years, the fact that they have been somewhat slow to catch on in New Jersey is a mystery.

But be that as it may, these highly entertaining games, more than any other game available to you online, make you feel like you are playing in a real casino.

Live dealer games are here in New Jersey to stay, and over time, the option will only expand and get better.

How to Make Your Casino Experience the Best

Depending on your level of play, some New Jersey online casinos might be a better choice than others.

If you’re a high roller, you want a casino that will reward you generously with comps and other benefits, so nothing less than an outstanding loyalty program will do.

Sugarhouse Online Casino features a shared wallet with, so users can deposit and wager from the same pool of money. The biggest standout feature of SugarHouse’s online casino is live dealer, which is also available with DraftKings. What makes SugarHouse standout is that their deposit bonus comes with only a 1x play-through, meaning you only need to wager the bonus money once before it is eligible for withdraw.SugarHouse has been a leader in online gambling, being quick to market with premium tech, excellent signup bonuses, and strong promotions.8. Online casino slot machine apps. SugarHouse Online Casino. SIGNUP BONUS $250DEPOSIT MATCHoffers select slot games with table games expected to launch in the future.

At the other end of the scale, if you’re a small-stakes player, the casino’s loyalty program is not as important as frequent bonus opportunities that have low minimum deposit requirements and offers a good bang for your buck.

The best NJ online casinos offer an easy-to-access, safe environment for you to play your favorite online or mobile casino games for real money with a fair chance to win.

However, as necessary as these features are, it is also essential for your online gambling experience to be fun and, whether you win or not, to feel you are getting your money’s worth in loyalty rewards and bonuses.

All of these elements contribute to the overall quality of the site.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

At NJOnlineCasino.com, we’ve answered thousands of user questions. Below are the top five questions we receive. Click on any to expand the answer. If you have more questions, you can always chat with us (bottom right) or send us an email.

Are online casinos in New Jersey legal?

New Jersey legalized online gambling on Nov. 26, 2013.

On that date, New Jersey became the thirdstate to offer legalized, state-run online gambling, preceded by Nevada and Delaware. However, Nevada is currently limited to one poker room and includes no casino sites.

After New Jersey, two more states — Pennsylvania and West Virginia —have also legalized online casino gambling. However, no websites offering it have launched in those states yet.

How do I tell a legal NJ casino site from an illegal one?

It’s simple. Internet casinos in New Jersey are regulated by the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement.

All you have to do is look for this seal on the website you’re visiting to know that it’s a legal NJ online casino:
At NJOnlineCasino.com, we only feature casinos that are licensed and legal in New Jersey. Look out for other sites that promote casinos as “legal” when they really aren’t. Learn more here.

Who can play at NJ’s legal online casinos?

Anyone 21 and older and is located within the state at the time can play. You don’t have to be a resident — you only have to be in the state.

How do I make a deposit at NJ’s gambling sites?

There are several ways, including:

  • Credit and debit cards
  • Electronic checks (ACH)
  • Bank wires
  • Cash (7-Eleven or a casino cage)
  • Prepaid cards

Each casino handles things a little differently, but the above should give you a general idea of how to deposit at NJ’s casino sites.

4. Who regulates legal online casinos in NJ?

The industry is overseen by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), the same agency that regulates Atlantic City casinos.

The NJ casino must have a license from the DGE to offer legal online gambling. The DGE maintains a list of licensed online gambling sites on its website. All online casinos are operating in NJ partner with one of the land-based casinos in Atlantic City.

5. Why do NJ casinos ask for personal information at sign-up?

Because they are required to by law, for casinos to control fraud, money laundering and other types of abuse, such as underage players making accounts; it’s important they verify you are who you say you are.

Usually, the information requested is fairly limited and may include your address, some part (or all) of your Social Security number, and phone number. Your information is encrypted and protected just as it is when you bank or shop online.
